Modeled after the Parisian boutique bearing the same name, Fabrice opened its doors in May of 2000 to a rousing welcome of accolades and applause. Located in the heart of Chicago’s Old Town district, the shop quickly attracted a clientele of fashionable women of all ages who were instantly drawn to the inimitable selection of incredible jewelry, handbags, and accessories.
Across the ocean and nestled in the bustling left bank of Paris, Fabrice has long been a well known, exclusive destination for stylish French women looking for and knowing they will find that special one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry. Owner Jackie Riis and daughter, Alexandra, are the designers of this legendary jewelry collection often known as “fantasie bijoux”. The entire collection, ranging from exquisite necklaces, fashionable bracelets, earrings, and rings to the more whimsical brooches, is hand crafted and lovingly designed. From semi-precious stones to resin, many of the pieces are inspired by nature and the gardens of Provence where the owner maintains a second home.
The Chicago boutique has expanded upon the Paris store and is more global in concept. It offers a thoughtfully chosen and beautifully selected collection of women’s accessories, ranging from jewelry, handbags, wraps and shawls to specialty products for bath, body, and home. In addition to the entire Fabrice collection of jewelry, other exciting international and American designers are showcased.
